I feel a little hesitant as I'm not used to writing down what I feel about myself or my work. Time for me to take a step forward and just go for it. Here goes ...... I'm going to introduce you to Lord Ganesh, painting complete ... whooooppppiii. Acrylic painted on a 100cm x 100cm stretched wooden canvas. Small summary about the subject, Ganesh, an elephant-headed deity in the Hindu religion. He is usually depicted with a pot belly and one broken tusk, riding a rat. He is the god of wisdom, and learning, as well as the removal of obstacles. Lord GaneshI started this project last year, made few changes to the original sketch and finally managed to complete it this year. I chose bold colour approach. Currently, I am trying to add more works to the Eastern collection series. I wanted to try my hand in painting a Hindu deity on a large scale.
Love to hear what y'all think.
