I feel a little hesitant as I'm not used to writing down what I feel about myself or my work. Time for me to take a step forward and just go for it. Here goes ......
I'm going to introduce you to Lord Ganesh, painting complete ... whooooppppiii. Acrylic painted on a 100cm x 100cm stretched wooden canvas. Small summary about the subject, Ganesh, an elephant-headed deity in the Hindu religion. He is usually depicted with a pot belly and one broken tusk, riding a rat. He is the god of wisdom, and learning, as well as the removal of obstacles.
I started this project last year, made few changes to the original sketch and finally managed to complete it this year. I chose bold colour approach. Currently, I am trying to add more works to the Eastern collection series. I wanted to try my hand in painting a Hindu deity on a large scale.
Love to hear what y'all think.
